The mission of Cybozu Labs is to research and develop software technology that promotes information sharing.

Through the provision of this type of software to every corner of the globe, Cybozu Labs is helping to create an information-based society that acts as a forum for information sharing, enables people to send information to one another and review the opinions of others, and build up a wealth of knowledge through careful examination of all the information available.

Since foundation, Cybozu, Inc. has been contributing to information sharing within corporations through the development and sales of its Cybozu Office Web-based groupware suite.

Cybozu has also released the following Web-based applications for information sharing:

• Cybozu^® Dezie^®, a Web database system
• Cybozu^® MailWise, a system for sharing e-mail in a group environment
• Cybozu^® Garoon^®, a portal groupware

At Cybozu Labs, designated as the R&D division of the Cybozu Group for the next generation, we research and develop software technology that supports information sharing of the next generation based on key concepts such as portals, groupware, Web databases, blogs, Wiki (software that enables the editing of Web page contents), and CMS, and we aim to publicly disclose these results.
